The Science Fair was held this past December 14th in the library! Twenty students participated in the fair—which is only open to 4th and 5th grade students. The Stonewall PTA sponsors the fair at the school level with support from Ms. Haggard. Kentucky American Water sponsors the District Fair—which will be held on February 3rd at Bryan Station High School. The levels are school, district, regional, state and national. 4th graders can only advance as far as Regional, with 5th graders advancing as far as State.
Entries were judged by local scientists and engineers(2 judges per entry). Judges scored on re-search, finished project, oral explanation of project, creativity, and display. Participants chose a topic of science in which they were genuinely interested.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the fair—as well as to overall winners and those that advanced to District! What a job well done!! Good luck everyone!!!
